IMPORTANT:
This is a vibration-triggered alarm that activates when an intruder turns the doorknob or pushes the door. The alarm swing and collides with the door or lock, generating vibrations that trigger the alarm.
For maximum sensitivity, make sure to securely fasten the lanyard’s clasp to the doorknob during installation. Pay attention to the alarm’s position relative to the door, and adjust it so that it can easily collide with the door when the doorknob is turned or the door is pushed. This helps detect even the slightest movements more effectively.

Battery Recommendation for Your Alarm
Thank you for purchasing our alarm system. This product requires a 9V battery, which is not included. We do not manufacture batteries, and including them would increase the product cost and shipping risks.
9V Battery Comparison
To ensure optimal performance, we recommend using a high-quality 9V battery. Below is a comparison of common 9V battery types, including their self-discharge rates, typical lifespans, and estimated runtime under a 150mA load.
Battery Type | Lifespan (General Use) | Self-Discharge Rate (Per Year) | Estimated Runtime at 150mA Load |
---|---|---|---|
Carbon Zinc | 3–6 months | 15–20% | 5–15 minutes |
Alkaline (Recommended) | 12–24 months | 2–3% | 30–60 minutes |
Lithium (Highly Recommended) | 3–5 years | <1% | 2–5 hours |
Battery Performance at 150mA Load
-
Carbon Zinc Battery
- Low capacity (~200–400mAh), drains very quickly at 150mA, lasting only 5–15 minutes.
- Not recommened, loses power quickly, even when not in use.
-
Alkaline Battery (Recommended)
- Moderate capacity (~500–800mAh), providing 30–60 minutes of continuous operation.
- Best for general use and offers a balance between cost and performance.
-
Lithium Battery (Highly Recommended)
- High capacity (~1200–1500mAh), lasting 2–5 hours under a 150mA load.
- Best choice for long-term and high-power applications.
Our Recommendation
For the best results, we recommend using brand-name alkaline or lithium batteries from reputable manufacturers such as Energizer, Duracell, or Panasonic.
- For occasional use: Alkaline batteries provide a good balance between cost and performance.
- For long-term reliability and extended operation: Lithium batteries offer significantly longer runtime, lower self-discharge, and better performance in extreme conditions.
